Chery's brand Jaecoo officially launched the new model 2024 Omoda C9, which is expected to be officially released in December. Omoda C9 is positioned as a D-Segment SUV, offering two options, 2WD RM185,000 and AWD RM195,000 respectively, and both models are introduced by CKD in the factory located at Shah Alam.

As for the size of the car body, the Omoda C9 is 4,775mm long, 1,920 mm wide, and 1,671 mm high, which is relatively low compared with competitors at the same level. The wheelbase is 2,800 mm, and the ground clearance is 165 mm. The Omoda C9 model offers three color options: Matte Gray, Khaki White, and Carbon Crystal Black.

Regarding the suspension system, Omoda C9 is equipped with a full-range adaptive suspension system, with MacPherson struts for the front suspension and a multi-link independent suspension structure for the rear suspension.

In terms of power engine, Omoda C9 is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The maximum power output is 261 PS and 400 N·m, with a top speed of 200km/h-205km/h and a WLTC combined fuel consumption of 7.6L/100km-8.1L/100km.

In terms of cabin decoration, Omoda C9 is equipped with a 24.6-inch central control display and a triple-zone air conditioning system, embedded with fragrance and air quality systems. In addition, it is fully equipped with features such as wireless charging, a 540-degree imaging system, a HUD head-up display, and a DMS driver monitoring system. The electric seats support eight-way adjustment and six memory positions, and ventilation of the front seats enhances comfort. The car is equipped with 14 surround sound speakers (8 for the 2WD model) and has a personalized driving seat speaker, providing a unique sound experience.

For safety, Omoda C9 will have 8 safety airbags and Level 2.5 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), offer no less than 15 functions and assistance systems, and be equipped with a 540-degree panoramic surveillance system.
